Set a category permalink and SEO description and title

A category permalink lets people see an easy-to-remember, searchable URL for the category they are shopping in. An SEO description and title provide information about a category’s intended use to search engines. Any webstore staff can edit the permalink or SEO description and title.

Add or edit a category permalink

The category permalink appears in the browser URL bar, and anyone in the webstore can modify it. Permalinks can be up to 250 characters long and may only include words, dashes and numbers.

  • Mobile
    1. Open the webstore you’d like to updateGo to anamo.app (log in if you’re not already logged in to Market)
    2. Under SHORTCUTS, tap the webstore you’d like to update
    3. Tap Categories
    4. Tap the category you wish to update
    5. Under Display names, find the display locale you’d like to add the permalink to
    6. Enter a permalink, then tap Done
  • Desktop
    1. Open the webstore you’d like to updateGo to anamo.app (log in if you’re not already logged in to Market)
    2. Under SHORTCUTS, click the webstore you’d like to update
    3. Click Categories
    4. Click the category you wish to update
    5. Under Display names, find the display locale you’d like to add the permalink to
    6. Enter a permalink, then click Done

A category SEO title is visible when your webstore shows up in the results of a search made from a search engine. From messaging apps, you can see the SEO title when a category’s URL is included in a message. SEO titles can be up to 250 characters long and can include emojis. ✨
