Add products to a category

Market organizes products into dedicated spaces called “categories.“ Categories bring the right products in your webstore together in one place. Keep reading to learn how to add products from your webstore to a category.

Add products to a category

You can add as many products as you like to a category. For large groups of products, we recommend creating a list of subcategories and adding products to them instead.

Add a category from the product sheet

The fastest way to add a product to a category is to find it in the products page, and add it to a category from there.

  • Mobile
    1. Open the webstore you’d like to updateGo to anamo.app (log in if you’re not already logged in to Market)
    2. Under SHORTCUTS, tap the webstore you’d like to update
    3. Tap Products
    4. Filter the products on the list by inventory or categories — You can also search for products by name, SKU, MPN or manufacturer
    5. Tap the product you wish to add to a category
    6. Under CATEGORIES, tap Add category
    7. Search for and select categories you’d like to add the product to
    8. Tap Select
    9. Tap Done
  • Desktop
    1. Open the webstore you’d like to updateGo to anamo.app (log in if you’re not already logged in to Market)
    2. Under SHORTCUTS, click the webstore you’d like to add categories to
    3. Click Products
    4. Filter the products on the list by inventory or categories — You can also search for products by name, SKU, MPN or manufacturer
    5. Click the product you wish to add to a category
    6. Under CATEGORIES, click Add category
    7. Search for and select categories you’d like to add the product to
    8. Click Select
    9. Click Done

👍 Tip: If products are not visible in your webstore, you must add them to a category first.
