When a category is no longer needed, it can be renamed to become a new category or deleted. Renamed categories retain the products originally assigned to them. Deleted categories are permanently removed from a webstore, but the products inside them are retained and searchable.
👍 Tip: Every product in Market needs to be assigned to at least one category to be visible on the webstore.
